Weekend is here!!!!!!!!!!

Woohooo!!!! It's Friday!!
So I just thought of popping in and sharing some thoughts and plans today. No card to share as Im 'creating some candles for Easter right now. Here the godmother buys a candle for her godchild with special decoration on it at Easter. I'll share some of them later.
Weekend is finally here and it looks as it's going to be a sunny and warm weekend!! It's almost the first weekend of this year that both children are in good health (no coughing, sneezing, fever!!!!!!!) and the weather is good enough to go out. I'm planning to take Ektoras (my eldest treasure!!) to a Disney show tonight and then spend a cosy evening with hubby! So I'm planning on a special dinner menu.... I'm thinking ceasar's salad, champagne soup and a sweet, totally greek pie with phyllo and milk (hubby loooves this) as dessert!! Maybe I'll post the recipe one of these days......

Goodmorning Tuesday!!

Hope you're all well. The weather here in Athens is gloomy today. I created one card yesterday which I would like to share (cause today I'm not really in the mood of creating anything). I wanted to make a card following the sketch of CPS which I really liked.
So here is the card I made...





I found out that these flowers are indeed an addiction!!! I made one more for this card!! I'm so much into the green-purple combo these days that I decided on using these colors again!!! Xaxaxaxa... I used the "turning a new leaf" stamp from PTI and my nesties for the "leaf".

Happy Monday!!

Hello all,
today I created a card for the Waltzingmouse"s first customer blog hop.

I am soooo excited to be taking part in this!!! The theme is Spring, and we were asked to make a card or a scrap-page or an altered item. The only requirement is that we feature a Waltzingmouse stamp on our project!! You should have come here from Cinzia's post. If you got lost on the way then you should start here
Sooooo ..... I used the Off beat Backgrounds (as I only own 2 Waltzingmouse stamp sets :-(...... yet!!!) to create a plaid with 3 different greens , since I believe it's the main spring color along with yellow and pink!!! Then I used green and yellow ribbon and I created two flowers (it's all about spring!!!!!) as I've seen everywhere in blogs these days. Punched the leaves and used a sentiment from a set I found in my stash and don't even know where it came from!! (lol)




So here is my card. I love the colors, they are definitely me!!! And the card describes exactly my feelings...... can't wait for spring to be here!!!!!!! Yippee!!!

One more card...

Hello....
today I made a card for 2 more challenges. One is for simon says stamp and the challenge requires 2 patterned papers, 3 embellishments and 1 picture.
The second challenge is for CPS and this is the sketch we are supposed to follow...


And here is the card I came up with. I used patterned paper from Indian summer and the image is Penny Black, both bought from Simon Says Stamp.
I can't say I was thrilled when I began making the card but in the end it came out cute enough (LOL)!!!!
The punch used is Martha Stewart and the sentiment is from a stamp set again from Simon but can't remember which one (sorry!!)


Here is a close up of the picture which I colored with my (loved!!!) Copics!!!

2 Challenges - 1 Card!!

It's feels like spring is just round the corner here!!! Today it was very warm and sunny. I don't know how that is done but in spring my mojo is really high up!!! Creativity is on the rise!! Do you feel the same or is it only me?
So I decided to enter 2 challenges today : one for Pink elephant


that requires the use of ribbon and one for Embellish Magazine



which requires that we use these specific colors!





At first I think the color combo wasn't my favourite but in the end I like how the card turned out. The background is stamped in midnight blue ink (although it seems black thanks to my great photo skills !!!LOL) and I used the emboss resist technique for the leaves.
Have to go!! My son is tagging my sleeve as he wants to be told a fairy tale!! LOL.....

CPS sketch and PTI challenge

Well,

Nichole of Papertrey ink this week teamed up with CPS for a challenge!!!

This is the sketch :

So I needed to make a card for a friend's wedding and I know purple is her favorite color.... and I certainly love the combination with orange!!! Such a bright and happy color combo!

I embossed one part and inked it with snow white. The heart in the center is cut with heart nestabilities from bronze and embossed. The flower is punched with Martha Stewart's daisy punch.The rhinestones add more glimmer. I love how it turned out!!!

This weekend is a holiday here in Greece as it is the end of let's say the equivalent of Halloween's which here lasts for three weeks. Sooooo, this Sunday is the peek of celebrations here with big parades in the streets. And Monday is a holiday as it is the beginning of fasting before Easter!!! So that means we are one step closer to Easter.

And let's not forget about Valentine..... although here it is not such a big deal....

Anyway.... Hope you liked my card!

PTI color contest!!!

Today PTI had a new contest! We had to use a specific combination of colors according to our name initial!!! This is the first time I have ever taken part in a color challenge and I have to admit I just loved it!! Maybe it was because I really liked the color combination for S!!!! As soon as I saw the colors a lot of ideas flooded into my head, but with 3 people sick around (hubby and 2 children) I really didn't have any time in my hands... lucky I got around to making one card before the contest is over!!!

So here is what I created.Hope you like it ... I certainly had fun making it ( among medicines and taking temperatures....

PTI Challenge!

Hiya everyone! This is the card I created for the PTI

challenge for day 5. They are celebrating their 3rd anniversary!

Happy anniversary guys! Your work is excellent!

Anyway, I used resist embossing technique for the background

and blended 2 shades of red and pink inks. Love those girlish

colors and Valentine's day is almost here!!!! Hope you like it...

Hello!!! I have been

thinking of creating a blog for

a long time now.

A "diary" where I could share my creations, my thoughts maybe

and I don't know where else this can lead to. I don't think I'm very talented with speech

(especially written speech!!) and probably that's the reason it took me soooo long

to start my own blog.....I'm not even sure what I will write about, or if I will be a

regular blogger....and most of all if anyone is interested in reading it.... but
