Since I had some extra time I made one more card for the PTI contest inspired by Jessica Witty this time!! One of the most talented and inspiring PTI ladies!!! Love what she creates and how she uses a new perspective in her creations!
So I used the colors of her card, red, aqua and white to create this card. I kept it simple and I think it turned out quite elegant!!

I used the delightful dalhia in red and the leaves in aqua on white cardstok . I embossed the parisian doily on the card and added two hearts in red and aqua from tremendous treat : Valentine.

And this is a closer photo that shows the embossing.

I love how it turned out... hope you like it too. Thanks for visiting.... and Happy anniversary again PTI!!!!!

Hello again!!
This time my comeback (and I hope it's for good this time!!!) is due to the festivities in PTI celebrating their fifth anniversary!! Sooooooo ..... Happy 5th anniversary PTI!! Hope you celebrate many more years full of inspiration and creativity! I have to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the PTI ladies for keeping us inspired!! You, ladies, ROCK!!!!

So, in order to participate in the first day of the festivities we had to create a new project inspired by one of the team's favorites as they were presented in the blog and use at least one PTI product
( well, that was not too difficult as 90% of my stamps and dies are PTI!!!).
I had a really hard time to choose my favorite...... but I went for Maile since I loooove her style and simplicity!. So, I decided to use the rainbow of colors she used on her favorite card...
And this is my take....

I used the Bitty background blocks stamp set and die in a rainbow of colors and embellished with assorted buttons. The sentiment is from Enjoy the ride in true black.
Hope you like it!! (And hope I'm lucky enough to win!!! hoho!)

Sunny Thursday!!!
It's been a beautiful sunny day today here in Athens!!! It's like an early spring!! Such days are full of inspiration!! And that's great because PTI's contest for today is about using buttons in a creative way!!!
Oh how I love buttons! I almost use them on every project...
So this is what I came up with when I read about today's contest.....

I made this for a dear friend...
That's how it looks from the back...

The side....

And here is a take of the front side....

I used patterned paper with Mod Podge... the flower is the beautiful Dahlia from PTI...
I used some buttons and a small jingle bell and a small bronze butterfly....
The saying is from one of my favorite sets so far, Life....
Thanks for visiting...... Have a beautiful day!!!

Hello everybody!!!!!!
It's been quite a while since I last blogged in here.... things have been hectic during the past year and I really didn't feel like blogging... although I have been creating things.
At this time of the year though, the festivities for Papertrey ink's 4th anniversary are here and I couldn't be missing!!!! (Papertrey ink's 3rd anniversary was the reason for my starting this blog anyway!!!)
Sooooooo......... this time Nichole and the Papertrey girls asked us to go through our own projects from last year and choose our very favorite one (created using papertrey ink goodies of course!!!)
After having some gooooood time going through my last year's projects (oh, I had forgotten some of them!) I think I came to choose my favorite one of last year...

This card was created for my best friend's anniversary. I used one of my favorite sets of all times!! ( which got even better when the coordinating dies came along!!!! lol!!!!)
I really love the colors I used and how well they coordinate!! It's a romantic card without being pink and red or anything on that side!!!
Here is a closer pic from the embossed flowers...

Thanks for visiting!!!!
I won't be away for long this time!!!

Time for another blog waltz by waltzingmouse!!! I'm really excited this time because I love the card I made for father's day!! I showed the card to my son asking him to keep it a secret till Sunday when we'll give it to daddy..... but he can't keep his mouth shut!!!!!! LOL..... He told me he will tell his father the surprise but he'll keep the secret!!!!! hahahahahahaha.......
So this is the card I created for father's day....

I used off beat backgrounds to create the "shirt's" design and the tie. And since I had no stamp saying happy father's day I combined a couple of stamps with alphabets...

This is some detail..

Thanks for visiting!!! Have fun waltzing!!!
I'm off to waltz myself....

Hello everyone!!
It's time for another Blog Hop by Papertrey ink!!!
I received my new goodies only a few days ago and I can't wait to use them!!!
This time the challenge is to use felt on a project...
well, I was playing around with my new argyle set (which is awesome by the way!! Congrats Lisa!!) and I created some patterned papers which I HAD to use!! So with my patterned paper all ready to go, all I had to do was think how to use my felt... and what prettier than a felt flower!!!??
I decided to stay simple with this card so that the patterned paper I created would stand out!!

I cut the leaves from the delightful dahlia dies set and I used some golden wire around the center of the flower. The sentiment is from the Enjoy the ride stamp set.

...and some detail...
That's all......
Thank you for visiting!!

Here I am again!! It's time for another Waltzing mouse blog hop and I made a card to participate...
I can't seem to stop using the Roses in bloom set! I think it's by far my favorite.... but I also love my newly arrived L'il Buddies!!! So I combined the two of them!
I stamped my colored cardstock with the rose from the first set. I used the circle with hearts and the happy birthday sentiment from the second set. The leaves are from PTI "Turn a new leaf" stamped in ripe avocado.
I think it turned out quite elegant!!

And here is some detail...

Thanks for visiting and Happy Birthday Waltzingmouse Stamps!!!!!
See you soon...
